The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) enables the Federation of Finnish Enterprises to develop EU policy better suited to SMEs
EESC is composed of 344 members representing civil society in the EU Member States: business and employers, the professions, trade unions / workers, agriculture, consumers and so on. EESC puts forward opinions and recommendations to the European Commission and the European Parliament on behalf of the aforementioned socio-economic actors.
There are nine Finnish members and one of them represents our Federation:

The EESC was established over 50 years ago on 19th May 1958.
UEAPME (European Association of Craft/Trades & SMEs) is the main channel for the Federation of Finnish Enterprises voice to be heard within the EU.
