Entrepreneur, support available under corona crisis!
The corona crisis has changed the world in one night and has left many company owners in difficult situation. New support mechanisms have been put in place by Finnish governement to minimize the damages caused by the sudden situation.
Are you familiar with existing possibilities for your company?
- Solo entrepreneurs may apply for labour market support from TE Office, and municipalities support solo entrepreneurs by 2000 e to cover the fixed expenses of company.
- Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment (ELY-keskus) grants funding to companies employing a maximum of five people.
- If your company is employing more than 5 people, then you are elligble to apply funding from Business Finland. These are grants (not loans) and aimed for the development of the company on the basis of the disruptive circumstances.
If your company is in financial difficulties, it is important to be proactive and start making arrangements. Ask the Tax Office for eased terms for your company’s taxes, negociate with your bank and other financing providers or lay off staff. You may also be elligble for personal benefits. Whatever your situation is, it is important to react and search for help. We are here to help you!
