SY and VR join forces: flexible train travel for sustainable enterprise

Suomen Yrittäjät, the Finnish SME association, and VR have signed a significant collaboration agreement with the aim of offering business owners a flexible and cost-effective way of travelling in Finland by train. The cooperation supports Finnish enterprise and helps keep businesses’ growth on track – literally.

The cooperation means SY members can access specially priced fares for all VR business tickets. The tickets include features such as cancellation protection and they can be rebooked, providing flexibility for business owners’ hectic lifestyles. The cooperation also offers a varying range of complementary additional perks for train travel.

“Business owners travel around Finland a lot, and now SY membership offers them a tangible travel perk. This cooperation encourages members to take the train, allowing them to efficiently get work done while travelling and at the same time supporting sustainable choices, raising the value of SY membership even further,” says Kimmo Ilmavirta, Commercial Director at Suomen Yrittäjät.
