Young Entrepreneurs
Join the Young Entrepreneurs’ network! Through us, you can expand your entrepreneurial network, take advantage of tools to expand your business, get membership benefits and make an impact on the position of entrepreneurs and the conditions for doing businesses.
We organize training sessions and events, the best-known of which is Young Entrepreneurs’ national Get Together. We run the esteemed Young Entrepreneur of the Year competition and explain to educational institutes, youth organizations and future decision-makers what entrepreneurship means.
There are Young Entrepreneurs’ networks all over Finland. In our parent organization, Suomen Yrittäjät, we make our voice heard through the Young Entrepreneurs’ management team.
Part of the SME association
We are a part of the entrepreneurial movement and Suomen Yrittäjät, Finland’s largest SME association. Suomen Yrittäjät has almost 70,000 members in its local societies nationwide and around 36,000 in its trade associations. According to Statistics Finland (2023), they employ, including themselves, around 590,000 people and have a combined turnover of around €171 billion. The Suomen Yrittäjät organization consists of 374 local societies, 21 regional associations, and 63 trade associations. Of our member businesses, half are single-person businesses and half are employers.
Come as you are
We’d like to see you join, whether you’re a young entrepreneur, planning on running your own business or simply interested in doing so. Join Suomen Yrittäjät, the Finnish SME association, as a student member to get all the benefits of what we do. If you are already a member of Suomen Yrittäjät, you don’t need to re-join to take part in Young Entrepreneurs’ activities. If you are still studying full-time, but interested in running your own business, you can join for free as a student member.
