Why take part in the Solo Entrepreneur Barometer?

• It brings the experiences, challenges, and perspectives of solo entrepreneurs into public debate and policymaking.
• It generates reliable data on solo entrepreneurs’ economic situation, well-being, and changes in the business environment.
• The results are used to support decision-making, guide service development, and strengthen the position of solo entrepreneurs.
• The findings receive wide media coverage and are actively used in discussions on solo entrepreneurship. Your response helps determine which issues are highlighted.

Solo entrepreneurs make up the majority of entrepreneurs in Finland. The more responses we receive, the better we can reflect the diversity of their situations. The survey is open to all solo entrepreneurs.

Solo entrepreneur – have your say

The Solo Entrepreneur Barometer 2026 is open from 14 April to 5 May 2026. The survey is available in Finnish, Swedish, and English, and the results will be published in the summer.

Completing the survey takes approximately 5–10 minutes. The survey is conducted in cooperation with Taloustutkimus.
