A Fun After-Work Get-Together in Järvelä

An after-work gathering for entrepreneurs in Villa Järvelä’s banquet hall. This free event features snacks, entertainment, good company, live music, and—for those who are thirsty—the option to bring your own drinks to the venue. After the event, you can continue on your own to the Järvelä side for a sauna (12€).

The event’s program will be facilitated by solution-focused workplace coach “Unelmaseppä” Laura Siltala and community and legal affairs expert Laura Kalaja.

Theme: Think back to a moment in your life as an entrepreneur when you thought, “This is exactly why I do this work.”

In that moment, you found your work meaningful and significant. Moments like these are an entrepreneur’s shining moments—they bring joy to your work, strengthen your motivation, and help you keep going even when entrepreneurship demands extra effort.

Join us to listen and discuss what makes work meaningful. Based on research conducted at the Department of Psychology at the University of Jyväskylä, the sources of meaningful work have been divided into seven categories. What makes work meaningful to one person doesn’t necessarily mean the same thing to another.

What is the most important source of meaning in your work? Is it being fulfilled sufficiently right now? How can you get yourself—or help a friend—move from “cold to warm”?

After the group session, you can continue the evening with a swim and a sauna at Villa Järvelä, which—true to its customer promise—leaves no one out in the cold!
