Come and spend a relaxed evening with like‑minded people!This time, refreshments are kindly provided by Turku University of Applied Sciences. The event is held in both Finnish and English. Our afterworks bring together entrepreneurs and those interested in entrepreneurship in a casual and welcoming setting. The evening offers peer support, new ideas, meaningful conversations, and valuable connections.
You can expect light snacks, free‑flowing conversation, and lightly facilitated networking. Drinks are at your own expense, and Kaivomestari will be serving throughout the evening.
Whether you are an experienced entrepreneur or just curious about entrepreneurship, you are warmly welcome. Come share your experiences and your story, benefit from peer support, and make use of the strong networks of the entrepreneurs’ community.
Programme
- 5:00 PM – Doors open, light snacks served
- 5:15 PM – Welcome! Greetings from the Entrepreneurs’ organisation and current projects benefiting entrepreneurs
- 5:30 PM – Light guided networking and informal socialising
- 7:00 PM – Official end of the afterwork (with the option to continue elsewhere in a smaller group)
If joining our events feels a bit intimidating, no worries – we are here to help you connect and keep the atmosphere relaxed. Come as you are and give us a call if you wish to ask some questions in advance :)! Stay for a while or longer. Talk, listen, or simply enjoy being there.
The evening is also open to those interested in entrepreneurship.
Joining is easy, and the atmosphere is informal and supportive.
International students from the Unicom project will also be joining us. Some of them have lived in Finland for a longer time, while others are just starting their studies. They are genuinely interested in meeting entrepreneurs, hearing their stories, and learning about the local business scene. At the same time, the event gives them a low‑threshold opportunity to practice Finnish.
