Start and Connect Afterwork

Have you recently started your own business and are wondering where to find the right contacts, support, and new opportunities as you begin your entrepreneurial journey? Start and Connect is a low-threshold networking event for new entrepreneurs who want to explore Turku’s entrepreneurial networks and find support services that suit their business.

The theme of the event is “Turku as a Network for Your Business.” During the evening, you’ll hear about other entrepreneurs’ experiences, learn about services that support entrepreneurship, and meet other entrepreneurs as well as experts in the field.

The event will feature short presentations, practical service demonstrations, and guided networking. Speakers at the event include Vesa Palander, the city’s Director of Economic Development, as well as representatives from Åbo Akademi University’s Entrepreneurship Support Services, Novia’s Drivhuset, and the University of Turku’s Entrepreneurship Hub Konttori, who will be presenting their services. At the event’s themed stations, you can explore a variety of services and find the advice, coaching, and support that’s just right for your business.

The event will be held in Finnish and English, and entrepreneurs from all backgrounds are warmly welcome to attend.

Join us to make connections, discover new opportunities, and build your business network right from the start of your entrepreneurial journey!
