Note: Event is mainly in Finnish. Dear entrepreneurs and company representatives, Welcome to a relaxed breakfast event at our office, where you will receive an up‑to‑date overview of the Turku 800 anniversary year and the opportunities it offers for businesses.
Turku is turning 800 years old, and many are currently asking the same question: is the anniversary year just background buzz, or something worth getting involved in? At this event, you will have the opportunity to discuss directly with the people behind the anniversary year.
Now is the time to start ideation within your company!
We will go through where Turku 800 currently stands, what is coming up for businesses, and what kinds of opportunities are available. The event is aimed at entrepreneurs and companies of all sizes, regardless of industry.
Representatives of the Turku 800 anniversary year will be present, including:
- Project Director Suvi Innilä
- Programme Director Salla Mistola
- Communications Director Maija Wilska
- A representative responsible for corporate partnerships within the anniversary year
Programme
- 8:00 AM – Doors open, breakfast and networking
- 8:30 AM – Overview of Turku 800, opportunities for businesses, and discussion with the anniversary team and fellow entrepreneurs
- 10:00 AM – Event ends
- 10:30 AM – After the event, there is an option to stay for a self‑funded joint lunch
