Mentorship program for immigrant female entrepreneurs
The Federation of Finnish Enterprises has started a national mentorship program for immigrant female entrepreneurs.
The new mentoring programme, She’s got this! Empowering women in business, is intended for immigrant women entrepreneurs who want to grow and develop in business life under the guidance of an experienced mentor.
Finland is becoming more and more international with entrepreneurs now from all over the world, all sharing one thing in common – a drive to success. The Federation for Finnish Enterprises is willing to help business to grow and develop.
Conditions for mentees
- Membership of the Federation of Finnish Enterprises – if you are not yet a member, you can join here!
- as an entrepreneur for less than five years or in a changing business situation
- a female entrepreneur or a female entrepreneur who is also an immigrant entrepreneur
- strong motivation and goals for mentoring
- commitment and activity in arranging a mentoring meeting
- commitment to the Code of Ethics for Mentoring of the Federation of Finnish Enterprises
- finding a suitable mentor
Conditions for mentors:
- motivation for mentoring and supporting the mentee
- at least four years of entrepreneurial experience and experience in profitable business growth
- a commitment to be available for at least 6 month
- commitment to the Code of Ethics for Mentoring of the Federation of Finnish Enterprises
- willingness to participate in mentoring coaching and training
- finding a suitable mentee
Working together in mentorship
Setting clear goals for mentoring is a key to success. At the beginning of the mentoring programme, the mentee will define a goal that she would like to achieve. The mentor can also help with insightful questions in setting the goal if needed.
The mentoring programme gives mentors the opportunity to build contacts and develop mentoring skills through practical experience.

Programme details and contact information
Programme lasts six months, during which the mentee and mentor meet approximately 6 times. In the Mentoring Programme we organise three live group meetings: Kick off, Networking Event and Closing Event.
In addition to these group meetings, we organize events for both actors and mentors on themes that support the topic, you will receive more personalized schedule later.
