The Foundation of Turun Yrittäjät

The purpose of Turun Yrittäjien Säätiö is to promote entrepreneurship in Turku and enhance the success of local businesses in a dynamic and changing operating environment. The foundation supports both entrepreneurs and privately owned companies based in Turku. Its focus areas include improving the opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises and enhancing opportunities for young entrepreneurs by supporting their additional education or participation in business development programs.

Fundraising and Grant Principles: Turun Yrittäjien Säätiö’s ability to grant assistance is based on the return on its basic capital. Increasing the basic capital enables broader operations.

Donations: The foundation can accept donations and other funds according to its rules. Similar to the basic capital, any donations received to the foundation are managed professionally, avoiding unnecessary risk-taking. The net return on capital is distributed as grants and support in accordance with the foundation’s rules.
