Catch up on Suomen Yrittäjät chairperson debate

The candidates for the chairperson of Suomen Yrittäjät met on Tuesday 20 September in a joint election debate.

The chairperson and two vice chairpersons of the board and chairperson and vice chairperson of the representative council of Suomen Yrittäjät for the next two-year term will be elected at the general assembly on 22 October in Tampere.

There are three candidates for chairperson of Suomen Yrittäjät: current chairperson Petri Salminen, current vice chairperson Anne Niemi, and chairperson of the growth and international expansion committee Petri Roininen.

The trio met on 20 September in an election debate presented by news manager and head political editor Juha Ristamäki of the Iltalehti newspaper. You can watch an hour-long recording of the debate here.

On Wednesday 21 September debates were held among the candidates for vice chairperson of Suomen Yrittäjät and chairperson and vice chairpersons of the representative council.

Standing for election as vice chairperson are Jyrki Hakkarainen, Jukka Hurrila and Jenni Parpala. Mari Laaksonen is standing for chairperson of the representative council. Mikko Sundell and Janne Vuorinen are standing for election as vice chairpersons of the representative council.
