Networking Breakfast: The ABC of YEL – the Basics of Pension Insurance for Entrepreneurs

Join us on March 10 at 8:30 AM for a breakfast event on two key pillars of Finland’s earnings-related pension system: YEL for entrepreneurs and TyEL for employees.

During the session, we will go through when a self-employed person needs a YEL insurance, how the YEL income is determined, how recent legislative changes affect everyday entrepreneurial life, and what YEL means for both pension security and other aspects of social protection. You will receive up to date information as well as concrete examples to support your decision making.

The event is aimed at entrepreneurs, business owners, and anyone responsible for managing pension obligations, especially those starting a business or reviewing their YEL income.
